A necessarily special meeting for the 25-year-old point guard, who spent seven years with the Mavericks upon his arrival from Europe. "I'm going to bed, I didn't sleep last night..." , the Slovenian admitted at the end of the match.
A match that Luka Doncic, despite the apprehension, left his mark on with his first triple double (19 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists) in the purple and gold jersey, in his 5th appearance with the Los Angeles franchise. Which allowed the Lakers to win against the Mavericks (107-99).
